Parents FLAG - Get To Know Us
Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (Parents FLAG or P-FLAG) has chapters and contacts in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, and several foreign countries.
The goals of Parents FLAG are:
 | To provide a support system for families and friends of lesbians and gays in their effort to understand, accept, and support their children and friends with love and pride. |
| To offer support and understanding to gays and lesbians. |
| To support the full human and civil rights of gay people. |
| To speak out and act whenever necessary to defend and enhance those human and civil rights. |
| To provide education for individuals and the community at large on the nature of homosexuality. |
